Ancient Coin Sculpture

I created this sculpture a few months ago but never posted a picture of it.  This piece was created using industrial materials and found objects.

The sculpture also has 3 ancient coins mounted at the top.  These coins are from the Roman Empire and are over 2,000 years old.  I have a proclivity for ancient artifacts.  It fascinates me that these coins were used throughout the Roman Empire for conducting commerce like buying and selling, paying rent, wages, etc..  I wonder how many times where these same coins here in this sculpture piece were used to buy food, clothing, wine or any other item of exchange?  These coins were no doubt in circulation for tens if not hundreds of years.  Admittedly they are worn but still enough of the image stamped on them is discernible for identification.
