New Sculpture With Steel
'Steel' is a free standing sculpture with hand painting to some of the elements. It measures 48 inches high, 9 inches wide and 6 inches deep. The piece is made from steel, lumber, found objects, concrete and stone. I have been working on this piece at the same time as the previous sculpture so they basically got finished within days of each other.
I find myself drawn to and fascinated by texture. I love the aged steel in this piece along with the bolts and galvanized steel. Working with the marble is turning out be a bonus also.
