Paint Columns To Look Like Marble

I painted 4 columns this week to look like marble.  Two of the columns were between the kitchen and the family room and the other two were in the master bathroom.  The colors used where to match the existing granite and the granite was the same in both locations but given the variations of granite it actually was a little different.

When I create a marble look on columns I do not paint in these veins with a small artist brush or a feather that you see a lot of people do.  I create a veining effect by a different technique so that the marble look is a little different that what most faux painters create.
